2023 Board of Directors Elections!
It’s time to vote for EYAA Board of Directors!Per our ByLaws any nomination for an Officer position will come from current board members. If you wish to run for a Commissioner position you may submit your request for the Board’s consideration either by messaging us on this page, by email to eyaa0tx@gmail.com, or by contacting any current standing board member. Candidates are encouraged to bring family and other community members who may want to speak on your behalf as to why you’d be a great addition to the team! We also encourage parents and other community members to let us know how you feel about potential candidates. The board will take all comments and feedback into consideration when we vote in August. We will post updates as to who is running for what position as nominees come in. While all input is valued and needed please note that only sitting board members will ultimately vote in new board members as per our Bylaws.

Little Lady Elk Night! Elkhart High School Softball Fields! FRIDAY 3/22/24
🥎 ATTENTION: ALL EYAA SOFTBALL GIRLS!!! 🥎This Friday, 3/22/24, is the Elkhart High School Lady Elk Softball team’s Little Lady Elk Night at the game! All girls who wish to participate will need to wear their EYAA softball jersey to the game Friday night! The girls will walk the players out on the field during opening ceremonies and receive a free popsicle at the concession stand! Game time starts at 7:00pm so please arrive and check in at 6:30!!! Let’s fill the stands with our herd of Little Lady Elks and support the girls that came before us! ❤️💙

Mark your calendars and set your reminders! Thursday May 2nd is EYAA Day at Chick-fil-A! Grab dinner for the family and mention “EYAA” when you order and a portion of the profit goes to support EYAA!

Activities
Elkhart Youth Athletic Association is achieving more with our youth within our community than ever before. We work on many exciting projects to help improve the lives of the kids now and for future generations to come and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. Learn more about what we do and how we work every day to promote positive change in the lives of the youth of Elkhart and surrounding areas.

Youth Basketball

T-Ball, Baseball, Softball Summer League
Fill your summer up with some good old fashioned baseball/softball! We offer Tball for ages 5-6 and baseball and softball for divisions 8u through 15u and even High School Eligible. We have a strong program that grows every year!

Youth Cheer
Ages 4-11 learn Level 1 cheers, chants, and stunts to perform during football games. At the end of the season they compete in a cheer competition to show off their skills!

Parents’ Code of Ethics
I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care, and encouragement for my child participating in youth sports by following this Parents' Code of Ethics Pledge.
I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every game, practice, or other youth sports event.
I will place the emotional and physical well being of my child ahead of a personal desire to win.
I will insist that my child play in a safe and healthy environment.
I will support coaches and officials working with my child, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
I will demand a sports environment for my child that is free of drugs, tobacco, and alcohol, and will refrain from their use at all youth sports events.
I will remember that the game is for youth, not for adults.
I will do my very best to make youth sports fun for my child.
I will ask my child to treat other players, coaches, fans, and officials, with respect regardless of race, sex, creed, or ability.
I promise to help my child enjoy the youth sports experience by doing whatever I can, such as being a respectable fan, assisting with coaching, or providing transportation.
I will require that my child's coach be trained in the responsibilities of being a youth sports coach and that the coach upholds the Coaches' Code of Ethics.
I will read the NYSCA National Standards For Youth Sports and do what I can to help all youth sports organizations implement and enforce them

Players’ Code of Ethics
I hereby pledge to be positive about my youth sports experience and accept responsibility for my participation by following this Players' Code of Ethics Pledge.
I will encourage good sportsmanship from fellow players, coaches, officials and parents at every game and practice by demonstrating good sportsmanship.
I will attend every practice and game that I can, and will notify my coach if I cannot.
I will expect to receive a fair and equal amount of playing time.
I will do my very best to listen and learn from my coaches.
I will treat my coaches, other players, officials and fans with respect regardless of race, sex, creed, or abilities and I will expect to be treated accordingly.
I deserve to have fun during my sports experience and will alert parents or coaches if it stops being fun!
I deserve to play in an environment that is free of drugs, tobacco, and alcohol and expect adults to refrain from their use at all youth sports events.
I will encourage my parents to be involved with my team in some capacity because it's important to me.
I will do my very best in school.
I will remember that sports are an opportunity to learn and have fun.
